A break, a game, and a break

Well, after that massive loss, I took a break from poker for a while. Today I played a short round of poker at the office, because I had to go home to get ready for the trip tomorrow. I was doing well. I was chip lead, but then we had to go so I went all in a few times and lost my chips to Wayne. I hope he wins, since I don’t think he’s won many games ever.

So, I took a break from online poker, and tomorrow I’m going to San Jose, so I would be taking another long break from poker, so tonight I decided to touch on it a little bit. Instead of playing a tournament, I sat down at a cash game, just in case I had to all of a sudden leave. First hand, lost half my chips, later regained it, doubled up with a full house (queens full of eights)… later lost half my chips again (trip 4’s vs full house 4’s full of kings)… then doubled up again with full house queens full of two’s… man, it’s so much fun going all-in preflop with QQ or KQ, and having someone call you. It’s so exciting.

And then I hit it big when I flop two pair, Ks and Qs, so I raise a bit because there were two diamonds on the board; turn came a diamond, so I was scared, so I raised a little bit because my king was diamond; the other guy called. River came the ace of diamonds, so I had the highest flush. I checked, the other guy raised a lot, I hesitated a long time and reraised, and then he went all in and I called. So then I about triple up and I profit a bit, and then I leave the table.

So, here is the poker chart now, however INCLUDING next week. I’ll be in San Jose for a week, until I come back Sunday morning, so I may or may not play more then. Anyway, see ya all later!

Murdering Rampage

Over the last few days I went on a rampage. And not the good kind.

(this picture includes Friday, because I know I will not be playing poker today... you can trust me on that).

I really should stick back to the "one-loss-a-day" maximum thing...
