Invasion: Martha Stewart

Before the main subject, Jeopardy has been quite interesting lately. The ~20-day Champion David Madden has been defeated with about 400,000 by a young smart woman named Victoria. And then the next day, the final clue was a daily double, which allowed one guy go from 4200 to 7200, while the other two people (Victoria included) were at 13,000 and 11,000 each. Of course, as you’d expect with the lead-in into the story, the 7200 got his question right and proceeded to kick Victoria off. And then today that guy lost.

Then I watched The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. I guess it’s not so bad. Some cute girls too. And the one I wanted to vote off did leave, so that’s good. I usually happen to catch one or two episodes of each season of the Apprentice. I’ll watch it again tomorrow, the one with Donald Trump.

And then CSI NY wasn’t on today; nooo, it was invaded by Invasion, so we watched that instead. It’s not bad. In other words, I’ll watch it again next time. It’s like they’re taking a movie and spreading it across many, many episodes.

So it starts off kinda like Independence Day – a bit of panic all over – a guy with a job, his girlfriend somewhere, some kids, some different jobs with different people, different ways of life. In Independence Day there was the President and his wife, and there was this dude with his ex-wife – here we have a guy and his ex-wife, and his lover and her lover, and some kids in the middle. So in this episode, things were just stirring up, and some alien speculation is there, but nothing too conclusive. I guess I’ll have to wait for the story to progress.

CSI LV Season Premiere tomorrow. Joey too. CSI NY next week. Serenity movie September 30th. Ravnica Draft October 8th. And maybe sometime I should go spend a week in Waterloo; won't that be grand?
